Do I need to be a dentist to apply?
No. We have two tracks. Track 1: practising doctors who want to operate their own clinic with our brand + tech + playbook. Track 2: healthcare entrepreneurs / family offices / RWA-owners who run the clinic as a business operator while we help recruit the medical team. Both tracks have closed franchises with us.
How is this different from a Clove or Dr Smiles franchise?
Their model is fast-food: maximise locations, generic brand, central commands. Ours is specialist-network: smaller number of higher-quality clinics where each has its own clinical identity. Lower volume per clinic, higher margin, much higher patient retention.
What happens if I underperform?
We meet quarterly, audit clinical quality monthly, and have a 24-month performance review. If a franchise isn't hitting reasonable benchmarks, we work together first to fix it. Termination is a last resort and the contract is fair to both sides — no horror-story clauses.
Can I open multiple clinics?
Yes. Most second clinics from existing franchisees come within 18 months of the first. We give multi-unit franchisees territorial protection and reduced royalty after the second unit.
Do you take an equity stake in the clinic?
Standard franchise: no. Premium-territory clinics (Bandra, South Delhi, Indiranagar): yes, we may take 10-20% in exchange for additional capital and brand investment. Discussed case-by-case under NDA.
How long does the process take from apply to opening day?
Average is 6-9 months: 2-4 weeks for evaluation + NDA, 8-12 weeks for site finalisation + lease, 10-16 weeks for fit-out + equipment + team hire + soft launch. We have a project manager assigned to every signed franchise.
What's the minimum cash I need on hand?
For Tier-1 (₹40-60L total), realistically ₹15-25L liquid + ability to raise the rest via business loans or equipment financing (we have lender introductions). We don't want franchisees stretching beyond their means — bad for everyone.
Can I see your flagship's actual financials?
Yes — under NDA after the first call. We share three years of monthly P&L for the Sector 78 flagship, broken down by service line.
